Matthew Meehan's Bio:

Matthew Meehan has been in the Investment Business since the year 2000 and is Managing Director of Investments for EJ Sterling. Prior to joining EJ Sterling, Matthew began his career at NYSE firm Ladenberg Thalman in the private client group, focusing on long and short equity strategies. After holding many senior management roles,  Matthew joined one of the top boutique investment banks on Wall Street as Director of Sales and Operations to help them expand their operation throughout the tri-state area, where he was instrumental in raising capital for both public and private companies in a multitude of industries.   Matthew has over 15 years experience helping clients pursue returns through exceptional customer service and guidance for investment products. Matthew and his team provide clients with proactive and keen insight into market dynamics and individual characteristics of equities, debt, and alternative investments that result in timely advice.   Matthew is a recognized leader and was member of each firm’s Chairman’s Council and Presidents Circle. In 2011 Matthew was honored by Staten Island Economic Development Corporation for being one of the top “20 under 40” business leaders in New York City and was recently elected in to the prestigious “World Wide Who’s Who” of finance.   Matthew has been accepted and is in the process of completing his Certified Investment Management Analyst Designation in conjunction with the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also Principle of MK Equity Group, and a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association. When Matthew is not busy at the office he is an active leader in the community. He enjoys playing golf, martial arts and traveling the world. Matthew and his wife Krissy reside in Staten Island, NY with their two children.
